Developed to address real-world challenges faced by operators, SafeDrop introduces a smarter, more controlled approach to the demounting process. By combining automated system activation with clear audible guidance, it helps prevent unintentional drops, protects personnel, and reduces the risk of damage to equipment and goods.
Demounting remains a critical operation across many fleet environments, with common challenges including missed visual checks on box leg deployment, a lack of audible cues for correct sequencing, and increased risk to nearby personnel. These factors can lead to costly damage, operational disruption, and avoidable downtime.
SafeDrop has been engineered specifically to tackle these issues. The system automatically activates when the box is positioned on its rear legs and the vehicle’s suspension is fully lowered. It then continuously monitors vehicle movement and, at the precise moment required, issues a clear verbal warning instructing the driver to stop and deploy the front legs.
Once the box is securely positioned on all four legs and the vehicle has returned to its normal ride height, the system automatically deactivates—delivering a seamless and intuitive user experience.
SafeDrop represents another step forward in TVG’s commitment to developing practical, innovative technologies that enhance safety, improve operational efficiency, and support the evolving needs of modern fleets.
