The Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) celebrates employers who go above and beyond to support the Armed Forces Community. It encourages organisations to align their values with the Armed Forces Covenant and to ensure fair treatment for those who serve, have served, and their families.

With our headquarters in Colburn, we know the value that Armed Forces Veterans and their families can bring to a business. Over 30% of our staff are either Veterans, Reserves, or have close family links to the Armed Forces. We have worked hard to ensure our policies are inclusive and supportive of the Armed Forces community. We signed the Covenant in 2024, and in 2025 were honoured to receive the Silver Employer Recognition Award.
At TVG, we uphold the Armed Forces Covenant in everything we do. Reservists and Cadet Force Adult Volunteers receive extra leave to fulfil their duties. Veterans are guaranteed a job interview through our inclusive recruitment process. We also support spouses, partners, and dependants with flexible leave during deployments. Across our teams, customers, suppliers, and wider network, we actively promote the Covenant, the Employer Recognition Scheme, and our ongoing support for the Armed Forces Community.
